Christmas Day with the Cassels

We spent Christmas Day (and the rest of the weekend) in Moorestown with our Cassel family. Though Christmas wasn't "white", it snowed so much the day after that we had to stay an extra day.

When we weren't enjoying meals together or sitting by the fire, you could most likely find us in front of the TV "Just Dancing" with the Wii. We all took turns battling it out and showing off our moves. It was so much fun and a great workout! Abby loved it too. She sat on Grammy's lap and danced the whole time. Fun memories.

Pingiczer Christmas Eve

We hit the road and spent a couple of days in Wappingers and enjoyed our Pingiczer Christmas Eve. This year, Chrissy and her boyfriend Terry joined us to celebrate. As always, my dad made lots of delicious food and we enjoyed a relaxing time together.

Abby and Cody became buddies on this trip. Abby wanted to play with him all the time. When he walked into the room, she would offer him all of her toys. Cody curled right up on her toy blanket as she played. He didn't want her stuffed animals, but when Abby started handing him pieces to her new puzzle he loved it. When I took the pieces away and put them back in the puzzle, he would walk over and take them out. We all got a kick out of it.

Christmas Celebration #2

Before we began our Christmas travels, we really wanted to celebrate together at home. It was a sweet time!

excited to open her first gift

As Abby opened her gifts, she would rip the paper and carefully hand me each piece. So cute.

This was my first stocking 25 years ago.

After we opened gifts, we made a Christmas hand print ornament together. Abby's first Christmas 2010!
