New Beginnings

Uncle Cory moved to his first apartment, so the whole family gathered at his new place to celebrate and help. We spent the day helping him unpack and settle in. He moved into the cutest little apartment in the cutest little town on the river. What makes it even sweeter is that it's in a cool new place without being too far from home.

Uncle Cory tried to convince Ella that she was a Yankee fan. When Abby is asked, she informs everyone that she is a Syracuse fan and an Eagles fan.

The girls loved all the leaves outside of Cory's door and spent most of their time playing in them. Someone is going to need a quality rake for Christmas!

I loved every minute of helping my brother on his first grocery shopping trip. He started laughing every time he looked over at me because of the owl ears hanging out of my front pack! :)

I couldn't love the Hudson Valley more. This has always been one of my favorite waterfronts and I loved being able to share it with Joe and the girls for the first time.

It might have been too chilly for ice cream, but our trip wouldn't be complete without a rewarding stop at Moo Moo's.

All these smiles!

On the ride home, Abby was in the backseat. For the last half of the trip, she asked to play games on my phone. The next morning, I found this gem in my messages. :)

Life Lately

When there is a spider in the house, Ella runs for the nearest shoe and napkin, then sets out to "save the day". She does all of this while comforting Abby. "Don't worry, Abby. The spider won't hurt you. Ella to the rescue!"

We love when good friends come to visit.

My Friday night view is pretty sweet.

I saw this headband in the big girls' room and had to try it on Juliet because the bow is bigger than her head. Juliet didn't find my experiment very amusing.

You know I love taking pictures of my sleeping babies!

A morning of dress up at Ms. Ange's

When you load everyone into the car to pick big sister up at school and realize you forgot to feed baby #3 before you left (mom fail), you improvise and nurse in the after school pick up line!

Abby comes home from school and heads downstairs to play school. She has had the play room set up as her classroom for weeks.

When it's 70 degrees on November 4th...

So thankful for this lovely friend. She not only reminds me of Jesus and points me to him whenever we are together, but also teaches me tons about motherhood. We share books, Bible studies, favorite recipes, clothes and most importantly real life!

Morning errands with two our of three...

It was a Friday night. I glanced over and for a moment saw two teenagers.

Two families filled with girls (seven under seven) made for a very fun Friday movie night.

This is what real life looks like in the morning.

Little Juliet is getting stronger and loving tummy time.

Daddy took the big girls out to help him run some errands. Then, they stopped for lunch together at the mall.

Movie night with this guy and trying really hard to be a good date instead of falling asleep ten minutes in. Those bags under my eyes don't lie. This momma is tired!
