It's always a good time when Mr. David comes to visit. The only thing missing was Ms. Anne! Joe and I even enjoyed a date night while the girls played chalk and introduced Mr. David to High School Musical.
Abby had her end of year field day and Joe volunteered!
Abby and Christine were twins.
Juliet is feeling "SO BIG" in her new front facing car seat.
It's a total blessing to have a husband who knows what you need more than you do sometimes. That was the case on my birthday this year. Joe knew I needed to celebrate more than I did. With the trials and adjustments I had been facing in the weeks leading up to my birthday, I was in the mood to let this one slide under the radar, which isn't really like me. But Joe gathered some of our good friends and Cory came up for dinner. I'm still amazed at how everyone rallied like that last minute to make my birthday extra special. I rounded out 31 with some very tangible reminders of just how precious life really is and we celebrated!

Summer nights were filled with falling asleep in Mom and Dad's bed while reading Magic School Bus chapter books and memorizing facts about U.S. Presidents. I love this sweet sight.
Father's Day celebrations started with a good morning ambush in bed! The girls were so excited to give their daddy his gigantic Father's Day card.
Breakfast parfaits and a good book
An afternoon in the sprinkler
These girls LOVE their daddy!
