Abby and I got really excited about this book when we found it on the new release shelf at the library last week. We planned out our own "Does it float or not?" experiment and spent the morning being scientists.

We gathered some random household objects, created a "guess chart" for Abby's hypotheses and then started testing. Abby had so much fun playing in the water and seeing if her guesses were correct or not. She was sad when we ran out of things to put in the water.
Almost all of her guesses were accurate too! What a fun way to bring a book to life and experience a real life learning moment. I love that my girl loves to learn as much as I do.
